I decided to start construction of a New Connie Marshall fan site which would provide fans, collectors, enthusiast, and Connie Marshall's family a visual of Connie's Artistic Legacy. It was time for Connie's fans to see and enjoy physical evidence of her legacy, not just read about it. I decided to use a portion of my large Connie Marshall Collection for that purpose. I also wanted to provide an additional venue for fans and collectors to research and discuss her work. With all this in mind, I designed it to be a learning source by providing my own commentaries for each item of memorabilia as applicable. I also inserted elements of entertainment to instill further interest and to make the visit enjoyable. _______________________________________________________________________

October 14, 2008:
Notified most Film and Actor/Actress Club and Organization sites of Connie's new site and requested that they post and report its site location and purpose to their viewer base.
Received an approving and complimentary "...Thank you..." from a Connie Marshall family member (Private). That is every Fan and Collectors dream come true. _______________________________________________________________________
October 19, 2008:
Received 65 hits to the site in 6 days with relatively little to no major publicity.
Although little Guestbook participation, I received numerous private email compliments and thanks for Connie's new site. Most state that the site is enjoyable and user friendly. They also enjoyed moving about the site from reading commentaries and studying the images to listening and viewing Connie in short movie clips. One individual stated that the site was truly a "...site for the entire family." A few stated that the site is beautiful and that I chose the perfect background to present Connie's Legacy. Wow! I was hoping I had chosen the most appropriate background style. One individual mentioned that most of the answers to my Legacy Quiz are embedded in my commentaries and are, hence, encouraged to read and view more. Also stated "...great insight." Well, I have always stated that a Fan and Collector views memorabilia and movies with a sharper eye.
Received a congrats from the Founder of the Connie Marshall Society for Connie's new site. _______________________________________________________________________

Discovered other interesting entertainment recordings of Connie from my Peggy Ann Garner Collection. I will announce and post to the Media page as soon as I change to proper format. _______________________________________________________________________
November 27, 2008:
Included Connie's radio production of "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn", Hallmark Playhouse. Broadcast on April 28, 1949, at CBS Radio Studio in Los Angeles, Ca. I will credit the Connie Marshall Society for disclosing that information. However, I actually had it incorporated within my Peggy Ann Garner Collection. Peggy Ann Garner earned her Oscar for her performance in that movie in 1945. It may now be found in the Media page at the bottom. Enjoy!
Thanksgiving Day record number of hits during the noon and afternoon hours. _______________________________________________________________________

Yet another record number of hits, today.
Probably due to fans visiting to listen to the newly posted "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn", Hallmark Playhouse recording of Connie Marshall. Yesterday, at least two fans emailed me telling me that the show made them cry towards the end. Several fans simply emailed to say they enjoyed it and thanked me. One fan left a message in my Guestbook that they shed tears listening to Connie and that she "...sounded like an Angel." I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it. It's not a very good recording and it's obviously old but still audible. _______________________________________________________________________

December 20, 2008
I have decided that I have accomplished all that I intended to accomplish with this site. I will be leaving this site unattended so that I may tend to my other Collections and other hobbies. Soon, I will remove the Christmas Tribute and periodically check back to determine whether to add more information or to take down the site depending on the hit and visit statistics. _______________________________________________________________________
April 22, 2009
I added a Legacy Tribute page to commemorate Connie's Artistic Legacy during the months of April and May because they include her Birthday and the day Connie was called to Heaven, respectively. I hope everyone enjoys the movie I created in her memory and the article briefly describing my thoughts and opinions of Connie's beautiful Artistic Legacy. ________________________________________________________________________
September 5, 2009
I added two new items to the Discoveries page. One is the Tradition of welcoming soldiers to our homes for dinner as inspired and traditionalized by the movie "Sunday Dinner for a Soldier". The second item is the Motion Picture Edition book of the movie "Home Sweet Homicide". Enjoy!_________________________________________________________________________
October 16, 2009
Received Award for selection as "Celebrity Site of the Day". The official date is October 16, 2009. Each day a Celebrity Site of the Day is chosen. This site was selected for reason of Excellent site worthy of the award "Celebrity Site of the Day". Visit "Celebrity Site of the Day" at: http://www.csotd.com/ . _________________________________________________________________________

Today, I was informed of a piece of information that Connie participated as an "extra" in a movie with Walter Matheau. This information was sent to me by a talent agent who was actually looking for Connie. So, even today, Connie's talent is still sought after. I am currently working to verify that information. Once verified, I will divulge the name of the movie and produce a small film clip of her in the movie. The agent provided me additional information about Connie from two other movies. I will soon include all this on the site Discoveries page with proper credit. I also made a record of this event in the Message Board of the "Connie Marshall" IMDb website. __________________________________________________________________________
November 14, 2009
I added two scenes from the Sky King, "The Black Mail" episode in the Media page. I've had these for some time but finally got around to it. Tomorrow, or soon, I will add eight scenes from the movie "Saginaw Trail". This should finally complete Connie's significant movie scenes in the Media page. __________________________________________________________________________
December 12, 2009
Today, I restored the Christmas Tribute pages for the Holiday period. I also added a new page named a "Small Fry Christmas". I worked on this project for the past month and am glad to finally add it to the site. Connie Marshall modeled for William Steig, the creator of Small Fry Cartoons [and the original "Shrek"], who called her a "...Typical Small Fry". It is a reminder of a beautiful piece of history in the Legacy of Connie Marshall. I have also posted this on other sites to inform her fans and enthusiasts. Enjoy! __________________________________________________________________________
January 1, 2010 Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to all Connie Marshall fans and enthusiasts! It was a great year. The site was clearly a success. I added quite a few more items to my Connie Marshall Collection, published two articles, made several more discoveries, was recognized by a few more Major Websites with links, received an Award for my site, and communicated with a Talent Agent still interested in Connie Marshall. During the year, I also incorporated Connie's quote "Since when did actors not want to be looked at?" on several pages followed by a popular waltz. Not bad for a stand-alone site which receives no assistance from any other "official" organization. __________________________________________________________________________
January 15, 2010
I have now removed all of the Christmas tribute pages including the "Small Fry Christmas" Tribute. If anyone should wish to view the "Small Fry Christmas" tribute again, then simply email me and I will gladly put it back up for an evening for your viewing enjoyment. Otherwise, you will have to wait until next Christmas to view it again.
And, thank you for all the great compliments. I plan to eventually create a special page for posting your comments, soon.
As in the beginning, I will continue to maintain an Open site for all visitors to enjoy and learn of the Artistic Legacy of Connie Marshall. A Sign-In site is a Controlled site which restricts entrance, viewing, comments, learning, and the sharing of all ideas. I believe that the universal method of promoting the Legacy of Connie Marshall is with a non-restrictive Open site.
Also, I will continue to provide images of items from my Connie Marshall Collection in their vintage and original version of Black & White or Color. I believe that colorizing photos and other items destroys the authentic purity of the item. Connie Marshall's Legacy extends into an era when both Black & White and Color were the unique technology of the day. There are hundreds of Black & White photo images of great Hollywood performers which, even today, can not be matched or equaled with in Color. Only vintage and original is Authentic.
Thank you for your continued interest and admiration in the Artistic Legacy of Connie Marshall. __________________________________________________________________________
April 28, 2010 Happy Birthday Connie Marshall!
I added a Birthday Tribute of Special Moments to celebrate Connie's birthday. This one is only 9.6 MB in size. The original Full Version is 104 MB in size but could not be loaded onto this site. I have it available on DVD with much better quality and lots more significant moments. Hope everyone enjoys the Birthday Tribute.
I have now removed the Birthday Tribute of Special Moments. If anyone should wish to view it again, then please ask and I will install it for an evening for your viewing enjoyment. Otherwise, you will have to wait until Connie's Birthday next year. I hope everyone enjoyed and appreciated the Birthday Tribute.
Thank you for your memory of Connie Marshall. __________________________________________________________________________
June 20, 2010 Unknown Movie Role
I have now obtained a headshot photo and a couple of movie scenes of Connie in an uncredited movie. Her role in this movie was strictly as an extra with no speaking lines. The movie clips are primarily of Connie walking by in the background scenes. This is a great discovery to add to her Filmography. I will make this material available as soon as I have determined a method of posting it.
I received 4 requests for re-posting of the Small Fry Christmas and Special Moments flash movie tributes and have just removed them. Actually, there were 3 requests for the Small Fry Christmas and 2 requests for the Special Moments movies for a total of 4 individuals. One individual requested both. I received a few more site hits that evening; very likely from the requesters. I'm sure they were enjoyable viewing, again.
Thank you for your continued dedication to the memory of Connie Marshall. __________________________________________________________________________
August 28, 2010 Connie's Articles
I have found articles written by the hand of Connie Marshall. Clearly, Connie was multi-talented. These articles range in topics from her Patriotism to stories about her Stand-in, a trip to Louisiana, various movies, and even a small very nice article about her older sister Pamela. I will make this material available as soon as I determine a method for posting it all. I will likely post them one at a time. This is a terrific discovery as it unveils the personal views of Connie Marshall while in her career. I will post this discovery on my Discoveries page but will follow-up later with actual article postings.
Stay tuned for these postings of Connie Marshall Articles. __________________________________________________________________________
October 2, 2010 First Article.....Sister Pam
Today, I finally posted the first of Connie's articles. I posted the article concerning Pamela Marshall's design achievement as reported by Connie Marshall. Pamela (Pam) is Connie's older and talented sister. Although it is a very short article, it is succinct and tells more about Connie and her sister, Pam, when one takes the time to carefully read the lines. I hope that everyone enjoys this small writing entry from the hand of Connie Marshall.
Stay tuned for more postings of Articles by Connie Marshall. __________________________________________________________________________
December 24, 2010 Chrismas Pages
Today, I have reposted the two Christmas pages with all their sub-pages of Holiday entertainment. Don't miss out on the "Small Fry Chistmas" movie. I hope that everyone continues to enjoy it for the music, photos, artwork, and its historical value. Most of all, may it continue to instill the joy and spirit of Christmas and the memory of Connie Marshall as she was portrayed in film and art.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! _________________________________________________________________________
January 1, 2011 Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to all Connie Marshall fans and enthusiasts! Thank you for another great year. It was also a successfull year of discovery. I discovered and added a number of new items to my Connie Marshall Collection, published a small article, made several more legacy discoveries, was recognized by another major Website with links, and was contacted by another Marshall family member (private) who communicated a complimentary and appreciative message. During the year, I had the time to create several more movies for the site which I will eventually insert. For this Christmas, I managed to create another flash movie sound of Connie's quote "It's just like Christmas" followed by the sound of sleigh bells. The quote is from Connie's movie debut, Sunday Dinner for a Soldier. So, once again, it was another successfull year of showcasing the great artistic legacy of Connie Marshall. _________________________________________________________________________
January 4, 2011 3000 Hits!!!!
Yet another great step in the success of this tribute site. Clearly, the site is appreciated by many fans and enthusiasts. Most importantly, it is evidence that the Legacy of Connie Marshall is continuing to spread and create interest and admiration. The spirit and joy of Connie Marshall lives on. _________________________________________________________________________
March 19, 2011 Deleted Scene Rediscovered!!!!
Today, I discovered a movie still of Connie from the movie "Down to the Sea in Ships", 1949. The still shows both Connie Marshall and Dean Stockwell. The photo also has a snipe on the back with details about the scene and also reveals her film character name. I acquired this photo from a European collector. Clearly, the movie versions released in the US had deleted Connie's scenes because of time constraints. However, the movie versions released to Europe were full undeleted versions. Otherwise, why reproduce those scenes in the form of Lobby Card photos and for media distribution and advertizing? This is a great Discovery which I will soon post on the Discoveries page with further information on a separate page. _________________________________________________________________________
