"Since when did Actors not want to be looked at?"

Their parents suggest going to the piano to play a song to liven things up.  But, Iris (Mona Freeman) objects for embarrassment of everyone looking at them.  Then comes the punch line "Since when did Actors not want to be looked at?" from Mikie (Connie).  This undeniable statement turns the debate against Iris and the family then turns and heads straight for the piano.  Connie performs the scene and dialogue as though she truly believes it.  The enthusiasm and conviction are both present in her voice.  What a scene!  What a line!
