Club members Clipper King, Penny King and Ellen Barret (Connie Marshall) are just entering the kitchen with groceries needed to bake cookies to sell for curtains for the club house. Connie has three lines in this scene. She executes them very smoothly. Clearly, it is evident that Connie has finally transitioned into her adult prettiness. The simplicity of her hair style and the cheerfull elegance of her voice, facial expression and body movement is evidence. I would have liked to have seen her included in the hostage scene. Connie's acting abilities would have provided a bit more passion to the scene. _______________________________________________________________________
